Mélissa CASSANET, Managing Partner, co-leads the Trademak and the Design Departments and is the Head of the Financial and Human Resources Departments of TAoMA Partners.

Originally Attorney at Law (specialized in IP law), she became Intellectual Property Attorney in 2005.

She is active in the area of trademark law, design rights, domain names, copyrights and related rights.

She mainly assists clients in defining and implementing strategies for the protection of intangible assets and supports the procedures for obtaining rights. She actively participates in their defense, in France and abroad.

She has extensive experience in managing trademarks and domain names (prior art searches, filings, renewals, registrations, opposition proceedings in France and Europe, surveillance, etc.). She has had the opportunity to work in a wide range of advisory and litigation businesses, with a particular focus on trademark and design issues.

She plays a transversal role in communication between the various departments of TAoMA Partners and is the meeting point of all the commercial and financial aspects.

he drives and develops TAoMA Partners’ network around the world, thanks to her location in Asia during four years (Hong Kong) and more recently in Spain (Madrid).

Mélissa Cassanet is a member of the French Patent & Trademark Attorney Institute (CNCPI) and of the Association of Trademark and Design Law Practitioners (APRAM).
